Don't like the rise in Autism? The words "Autism Epidemic" scare you? Don't worry. These guys will change the definition for you, so that according to them “The proposed changes would put an end to the autism epidemic,”.

Look forward to a future where it is even harder to get services and justice for vulnerable individuals on the spectrum.
If this doesn't reek of denial and injustice, I don't know what does.

Denying services , and not even make it on the long , long waiting list for services, not because my child has the light version of the disease, but because the waiting list is getting insanely long, is'nt

Well, I am not expecting anything good from the system, so this is not suprising me at all.
Not only that, it is a way to deny that autism has been on the rise. I was there at the beginning of the rise when I had to go to another county to find a child with autism because there weren't any in mine. The ostrich is putting its head in the sand, sadly.
