No more funding available in BC

Well there goes our escape plan to BC after our funding here ends.

Government shortchanging vulnerable people again.

Also seems like anyone advocating for redirecting budgets to meet these dire needs will be promptly removed from office.

  1. The B.C. Autism funding unit will give $23,000 per year to age 6, and then $8,000 per year to age 18. You can use it for more than just ABA and RDI consultants find ways of getting those funds if you want to use it for that.

Your other option is Alberta, we have strongly considered it ourselves. The Janus Academy, for example, is $10,000 per year but is a complete ABA school and is based in Calgary.

After age 18, all bets are off, it appears once children with disabilities become adults with disabilities, they are miraculously "cured" and become functioning, working adults.
